Quotations are made in Australian Dollars and are therefore subject to fluctuations in currency exchange rates.
Payment can be made by in US Dollars by wire bank transfer or direct deposit. Please note the direct deposit and wire transfer incurs bank transfer fees (on both sides). You will need to ensure your payment covers these fees.
Total payment for the tour should be finalised 8 weeks before the arrival date.

A deposit of AU$500 is required to secure your place in the tour. This will be converted to US Dollars as of the date of your deposit, and deducted from the balance owing. The deposit should be paid as soon as possible after making your initial booking.
Quotations are based on twin-share rooming arrangements. Should you require a single room, a supplement of AU$600* will secure a private room for you in all accommodation and train travel.

There will be no refund for any reason once the trip has begun unless through our fault you do not receive the trip you paid for. There will be no refund for unused hotel rooms, meals, sightseeing or any other charges once the trip begins.
Passports, Visa and Vaccinations
It is the responsibility of all passengers regardless of nationality and destination to check with the consulate of the country they are visiting for current entry requirements and to obtain the required entry visa.
Passports need to be current with at least 6 month validity from date of departure. A Visa is required.
As visa and health requirements are subject to change without notice we recommend that you verify health and visa requirements with the appropriate consulate prior to departure.
There are no special vaccinations required to enter Egypt from Australia but it is necessary to consult your doctor regarding routine medical concerns inherent in international travel.
Travel Insurance is compulsory. Your policy number will be required when finalising payments 8 weeks prior to arrival.
This tour needs 10 bookings to go ahead. Should the minimum number not be reached we reserve the right to postpone the tour. Under these circumstances, all monies paid will be returned to you, including your deposit, or you will be given the option to carry payments over to the next departure date. It is unadvisable to book and pay for any flights or insurances until the minimum number has been confirmed.
Itinerary may change slightly in accordance with group needs, service availability or matters beyond the tour operators’ control.

**It is recommended that the group establish a “tipping kitty” of AU$70* each to avoid the inconvenience of tipping individually during group outings (porters, camel drivers, temple guardians etc) Please Note; the Tour Guide, Felucca Crew and Nile Cruise staff are tipped separately. Please allow AU$50 for the Tour Guide and AU$20 for the Felucca.
